
Creme Quiche Lorraine
6 Slices bacon 1 egg plus 2 egg yolks — beaten 1 1/4 C. grated Swiss cheese — (5 oz.) 1 1/4 C. grated Cheddar cheese — (5 oz.) 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese 2 C. whipping cream 1 Tbsp. chopped chives 1 Dash pepper Power level High (100%). Total cooking time is 15 to 18 minutes. Microwave bacon on High (100%) for 5 to 6 minutes or until crispy. Crumble and set aside. Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour into a buttered 10-inch pie plate or quiche dish. Sprinkle top with crumbled bacon. Microwave on High for 10 to 12 minutes. Allow to stand 5 minutes or until completely set. Yields 6 to 8 servings. |
